Bacchus
Als der Bildhauer und Konzeptkünstler Thomas Judisch angefragt wurde ein Bacchantisches Stilleben für einen privaten Garten zu entwickeln, entstand die erste Zusammenarbeit mit Mixed Media Berlin. Nach der Pandemie kam der Wunsch auf, endlich wieder dem höchsten ethischen Prinzip folgen zu können: das Streben nach Sinnenlust und Genuss, um das private Glück in der dauerhaften Erfüllung individueller physischer und psychischer Lust ausleben zu dürfen. Stellvertretend für dieses Bild steht der Hedonismus und als Figur verkörpert die Philosophie Bacchus, der römische Gott der Fruchtbarkeit, der Ekstase und des Weins.
When the sculptor and conceptual artist Thomas Judisch was asked to develop a bacchanalian still life for a private garden, the first collaboration with Mixed Media Berlin was born. After the pandemic, the desire arose to finally be able to follow the highest ethical principle again: the pursuit of sensual pleasure and enjoyment in order to be able to live out private happiness in the lasting fulfillment of individual physical and psychological pleasure. Hedonism is representative of this image and Bacchus, the Roman god of fertility, ecstasy and wine, embodies the philosophy.
